Public Booking Guide

Coach Public Booking

Used to let clients request lessons with a coach.

Configuration:

  • Coach profile (name, bio, rate)
  • Weekly availability ranges
  • Public link enabled by plan

Flow:

1. Client picks date/time/duration

2. Client submits details

3. Request created as `Pending`

4. Admin/staff approves or rejects

5. Client notified by email/push (if configured)

Court Public Booking (Clubs)

Used to let public users request a specific court.

Configuration:

  • Per-court toggle
  • Public URL exposed when enabled
  • Court blocks and existing bookings mark slots unavailable

Visibility Rules

  • Public page does not expose internal client data
  • Busy slots are blocked without revealing private booking details

Timezone Rules

  • Store booking times in UTC
  • Render times in tenant timezone on public pages and dashboard

Common Issues

  • Wrong time: verify tenant timezone and conversion path
  • Double booking: ensure overlap checks and slot disable logic are active
  • Missing link: verify plan allows public booking
